"If I was on the other side I would be convinced you were a monster, with the effectiveness of yours, Lt." Soap pondered, he was about to take a sip of his coffee when Ghost stood up, almost knocking the boiling hot drink from Sergeant's hand. Some of it spilled on Soap's thighs.
"Ghost! What the fuck?!" He fumed, but Ghost bolted before he could even look at him.
"What was that?" Gaz asked confused.
Soap was pissed that he got burned with his coffee, but the anger didn't last long when he realized that something must have caused that kind of reaction. He looked around and saw lots of glares pointed at their table.

The 141 base wasn't quiet by any means, it was 30 minutes to midnight so rookies were gathering outside to look at the firework show Laswell decided to organize, some fireworks were already shot. Gaz was already pretty drunk so Price was putting all his energy to keep him standing. Soap wasn't surprised, it was rare for them to have a moment of calm, so they all tried to make the most of it. Alejandro and Rudy were attached at the hip the whole day. They played a round of poker with Soap after breakfast, but other than that they were engrossed in each other. Totally unaware of the attention they were getting, Soap wasn't even sure if they saw anybody else at this point. König was just kind of... there, the whole day trying to be invisible like always. Failing miserably with the height of his.
Only one person was missingor Ghost is scared of fireworks and Soap helps.
