It was endless torture without him, he felt so lost and alone. He was so lost in his own emotions and the raging thoughts through his head he barely registered the sound of the door opening. He tried to stifle his cries quickly to little success, his breathing unsteady while he wiped his tears with his dirty sleeve, he stood but kept his back turned, he didn’t want some random bum from this town to see him so broken.

He began to speak as he turned around, his voice shaking and catching in his throat when he saw the soaked mess of Shadow the Hedgehog standing in front of him.An AU where Shadow falls back down to Earth and seeks out Stone with the plan to reconcile with everyone he'd hurt during the incident with the Eclipse Canon. Stone takes him in, hoping that maybe if he took care of someone it'd distract him from the aching grief he feels for Dr. Robotnik.

At first, Stone couldn’t help but laugh. There he was, smelling distinctly of sewage standing in the middle of London after climbing out of the fucking Thames like some cracked out version of Aquaman, watching the end of the love of his life. Ironic, wasn't it?
TLDR: In which Agent Stone deals with the aftermath of Robotnik's death in the least healthy way possible, gets a pep talk from some enemies, and finds comfort in a little black hedgehog who has worse coping mechanisms than he does.

Hwang In-ho watches as Gi-hun is forced back into the room with the other players.
He sees that the fight has left him.
In-ho knows, if he doesn’t step in, Gi-hun will be dead by the next game. This should be good news- he has incited a rebellion after all, him gone would be one less problem on In-ho’s plate.
So why does he feel heavy to think of Gi-hun dying?
There’s only one way for In-ho to keep tabs on Gi-hun and keep him alive for a later date: to re-enter the game.

When Gi-hun awoke in a room full of strangers and was asked to watch his life play out in HD while everyone got to glimpse every failure and every horror he'd endured, he was surprisingly fine with that.
Turns out, Seong Gi-hun is fine with everything, if it means saving lives even if they do not mean anything to him (yet).
As it is, he can only pray that he doesn't mess up too much in the (apparently very real) future that plays out. (By the end of the first episode, embarassment will be the least of Gi-hun's worries.)
