Secrets are often revealed - embarrassment ensues, and the Blue Lions sit in mortified silence as their professor reads their private notes aloud in the most emotionless voice known to man. Summary
It is Imperial Year 1185. Nearly five years have passed since the fall of the monastery at Garreg Mach, and war continues to plague the lands of Fódlan. Byleth has reunited with her students only to discover that Rhea has gone missing and the Church has lost much of its strength leaving her to help stop the war and save Fódlan. First, they retake Garreg Mach and use it as a base to launch attacks against the Empire. The Church later receives assistance from Claude and learns that Rhea has been captured by the Empire, bringing them a small step closer to rescuing the Archbishop. Meanwhile Dimitri takes the opportunity to attack the Empire as well. As the Church builds up its forces, the Empire, Kingdom, and Alliance engage in a three way battle, with all sides suffering heavy casualties. Byleth soon learns that Dimitri is apparently killed during the battle and Claude has disappeared.

He couldn’t think of a reason to decline, and the dead were strangely silent on the topic. His traitorous stomach growled at the thought of food.
“Fine. But just to Gaspard.”
Dimitri, on the run, encounters a strange woman and her motley crew of mercenaries. He's only going to stay with them for a little while, just another step towards Enbarr and that woman's head.
Thing is, he keeps forgetting to leave.

Though the war has taken positive turns in his favor the nobles of the realm add more bulk onto his all ready encumbered back. For fear of his passing in battle he must take a wife and produce an heir. Problem is, he refuses to subject anyone to a life of misery with him.
