Summary
NOVEMBER 6TH, 1986
In the three years since Will Byers went missing, the town of Hawkins has been under constant threat of the creatures from the Upside Down. But now, eight months after Vecna has ruptured a giant rift through the town of Hawkins, that threat is about to reemerge. Unaware of Vecna's true plans and trapped under a military quarantine, our heroes will not only be forced to face the greatest evil from the Upside Down, but also overcome impossible odds, in order to save the world, and each other, one last time.
Written in a SCREENPLAY format, this fic operates as a diverging conclusion for the final season of Stranger Things.

“Yavin? Oh, to see your dad?”
“Yeah. He’s been bugging me since Exegol. Well, before that, really. I haven’t gone home in a while.”
“Home,” Finn tested the word. It was such a comfortable word, which surprised him, given how little experience he actually had with the concept. How could a word convey comfort, if you didn’t really know what a home was? “That sounds nice. I’ve never been to a home. Not that this isn’t a kind of home,” Finn rambled hurriedly, rushing ahead of Poe’s worry like escaping a wave. “Like, I’m fine here. I’m totally fine. Just, you know, a little house? Where just a family lives? That kind of home? That sounds nice. You should do that.”
Poe went suddenly, strangely quiet. He glanced up at the comm camera, met Finn’s eyes for the briefest of moments, then looked away again. “You could meet me there, if you wanted?”

Summary
As newly appointed Co-Generals of the Resistance, Poe and Finn go on a diplomatic mission to Passio Verak, a planet that was until recently under First Order rule. However what appears at first to be a purely ceremonial visit soon takes a more sinister turn. In the midst of fighting for their lives, Poe struggles with leadership, the lasting effects of the war and the messy reality of his feelings for Finn.
(C-3PO hesitates and then, in a passable robotic simulation of a whisper, he says, “Not to question your judgement sirs, but perhaps it would be best not to give the impression that your marriage is in trouble? Palace gossip can be frightfully insidious.”
“Our what now?” Poe says dumbly, blinking. Behind him he hears Finn make a strangled sort of noise.
“Your marriage.” C-3PO says and then tuts. “Oh dear, you really didn’t read the manual on Verakian customs I provided, did you?”)

Summary
So I’ve been hearing a lot of people say about how the trilogy was not planned... and it’s shows
So I went back to the start chose what I liked and changed what I didn’t and now I’m writing the trilogy from the beginning.
I’m starting from Poe’s escape because I’m happy with canon up to that point. Finnpoe and Reylo definitely gonna happen. Sorry if the first chapter is too canon I was trying to get into the characters minds and it felt right to start there.
