Oma Kokichi hadn't been the luckiest. Actually, you could say he's the most unfortunate person in this univeristy. For all he knows anyway. He's young, inexperienced, but jaded as all hell, sarcasm being his first language.
He's never had much: an abusive mother, a father he never knew. Of course, that meant he was the one who had to make ends meet. He barely scraped the grades to get into his uni, not having time to juggle both a job and school. Even so, a loan free first year encouraged him enough to smile, even a little bit.
He was free after all, moving to another city to persue his dream: politics. He'd always wanted a voice, and he was gonna give himself one. The question is, how far could he go? How much running do you have to do to escape your past?
He might have the will to lie right now, but when he meets a cute detective, the truth he swallowed will practically be giving him acid reflux. Heartburn. And suddenly, he's not so sure about anything anymore.
