If he still had a soulmate alive somewhere, they would have lied at least once until now. He would have received a sign. The possibility they were alive, or even existed, seemed too low to consider.

Now it is Gorgo's turn to be shocked again. One of these occurrences alone wouldn’t be terribly significant, but both? In addition to the general closeness and understanding between the pair that was obvious for anyone to see, it painted a damning picture. But the question now was were they already married or simply betrothed?This presented the final piece of evidence, Gorgo was now convinced. Those two boys had, at some point, gotten married. ("It's because he's bitchless and chopped that he's taking it out on us!" Stelle would complain to Dan Heng later during their meet up. Behind the counter, Mydei dropped his plate from how hard he was laughing.)
