Summary
Desperate for money, you enter an experiment that promised buckloads of cash once you're in. You were to be confined in an apartment for ten months with only one companion. Neither of you were informed with the objective of the experiment. Just that you be together alone with no connections to the outside world for ten months.
You thought you could handle it. But you weren't informed that an annoying, punny skeleton monster would be your bunkmate.
Welp. Might as well make yourself at home. This will be a long year...

Summary
Monster came to the surface and within a couple years there were gang wars everywhere within the city, humans against monsters. You were raised by a local mafia and became one of the best hitmen your boss had to offer. Soon you were taking up jobs to dust monsters but that doesn't sit right with you, you may murder people for a living, but you don't kill innocent people who don't deserve to be whacked off. With the help of a secret partner, you are able to sneak out monsters with hits on their heads while the mafia paid you to kill them. How long will it take for them catch on? and why do they ask for the collected remains of the monsters?

Summary
Growing up as the only kid to not be adopted from the orphanage was NOT fun, especially when you get kicked out on your birthday. Add that to the fact that monsters surfaced on that same day, your life was sort of upside down.
When monsters got their rights, a lot of humans were angry. Including your old boss. After protecting a poor monster from his onslaught, you lost your job. In a stroke of what seemed like luck, that same monster offered to introduce you to a friend of hers.
Of course, things were never easy. On your way to the interview, your life gets changed.
Who knows if it would be for better or for worse.

Things happen making you fall for the large boned skeleton. Your not sure if you should run to him or away from him.

***I always read UF fanfics that make Uf!sans fall in love with a usually sappy, happy, caring reader. Yeahhhh in reality? I think he could only really fall in love with someone who is more like him, soooo... YOU CAN (and will) KICK HIS ASS.***
Frisk has done everything. They softened Sans, they made friends with the scary, intimidating Papyrus, and they managed not to die... much. But, in the end they weren't able to break the barrier. They should have been able to, but... it didn't work.
Years pass. Frisk looses their DETERMINATION and moves off to a house in the middle of the forest, somewhere inbetween the Ruins and Snowdin. With flowey. The monsters are back to their violent ways, only slightly nicer than before Frisk had arrived.
And then YOU fall down. Well, you don't fall exacly, and you didn't jump, but... well, that's a secret. Anyway, you fall down and meet monsters.
It doesn't take long before they find out that you aren't like Frisk. You are a badass, you trust nobody, and you can defend yourself j u s t. f u c k i n g f i n e.

[edit, january 1, 2021: this fic started in 2016 which means i barely have any idea how to plot AT ALL & this is very messy & also weird pacing & characters aren’t consistent. so this is a warning if u ever want to read this fic. i tried to fix it by the second season but honestly it’s too far gone. however, i have revamped this fic to a new one called Babysitting with Extra Morbid Steps which is written better & with plot points & lotsa angst but it’s still ongoing.
this fic and that one has different characterizations and motivations so anything that happened here will most probably not happen in the other one so they’re two completely different sets of fics that just used the same theme! that’s all. you have been warned.]
