Summary
Half a decade after Viktor leaves Piltover for good, a fragment of Hexcore permanently adhered to his soul, an old friend comes to him for help. This wouldn't be an issue, if the same old friend hadn't spent the last five years trying to hit him, very hard, with a really big hammer.
“You’re not real,” Viktor repeated, closing his eyes. Even with the knowledge that this was a dream, the gentle touch unraveled him. There was an impact crater where his heart should be.
The calloused pad of Jayce's thumb found the corner of Viktor’s mouth. “All right. I’ll bite – what’s your evidence for this hypothesis?”

Viktor continues, again pressing into his space like he can goad his partner into a fist fight, “Vik. V. What’s next? Darling? Dearest?”
Jayce’s grin is a thing of legend. Practiced to perfection. A weapon of its own design, made up of sharp curves and blunt blades, slicing his Defender’s face into a beautiful lethality. The arc of the hammer holds nothing in comparison to the mold of his smile. “You’d like that, wouldn’t you, sweetheart?”

A single action is not often seen as life altering, or fate defying. Most would see a simple stroll down a damp street as just a normal occurance. Most would be right. How could one choice stroll, one chance encounter, and one medical mystery tip the course of the universe so out of wack?
That is what the Arcane would like to know, too, as two players who were never meant to connect, collided at full force well before their time and began to rewrite the story planned.

Bound by a promise, Viktor builds connections to the Undercity once more, trying to balance two worlds as he continues to become woven into crutial areas of Piltover.Becoming a secret member of the Last Drop, a councilor's assistant, and a critical part of what could be the key to the future. Viktor unknowling becomes woven into it all, and a key pawn that one may just want to snatch.

Summary
After a couple of weeks of caretaking, Jayce's condition has seen a lot of improvement. His body is regaining weight, the brusies on his body have been healing and his mind has been feeling more relaxed and clearer, although still pretty fragile. All of this was nice, but there was still something that has been filling Jayce with concern and impatience, that being his leg that even after weeks has not shown any remarkable improvement, leaving him confined to the same room, awaking in him something that he thought was far behind him and that now threaten to haunt him as it did back in the cave.
Or: Jayce has been bedridden for quite a while and monotony is starting to take a toll in him, unable to leave the bedroom because of his leg and making him feel distressed at the thought of feeling trapped again.
