What to do when you find a shivering vampire in a blizzard by Defenestration_Queen

Summary
Yes, vampires technically can’t die from the cold, but Abolish knows they don’t do very well in lower temperatures, especially when it’s snowing, because they can’t produce their own body heat. Normally, a coven stays together on the colder days, spending as much time as they can cuddling in their nest, so Abolish silently questions why Scott is out alone in the cold. Maybe he was trying to find food for his fledglings when the blizzard hit.
Abolish snaps himself out of his thoughts as he feels Scott’s little furry body nestle in against his neck. The bat still shivers, though whatever body heat Abolish has left must be enough for the vampire to be at least slightly content. Abolish resumes his walk back to town, knowing his house is closer than the castle.

Summary
Abolish and Nikos were partners, both romantically but also criminally.
To be specific, they were thieves, but not petty thieves like you see in bad media, no they were professionals. The best of the best if you will. They had stolen such priceless artefacts from both private collections and public establishments, and they never, never failed.
Like I said, they were the best of the best.
Key word there being 'were'.
