Legend’s face grew redder, and then he was hiding his face in Warriors’s scarf.
And then, they had parted, eyes red and faces blotchy, and Four almost laughed at the sudden discovery that they were all ugly criers.
Four looked at the portal waiting for him, waiting to take him home. He cast one last look over his shoulder at his brothers, ingraining their faces into his memory, and then he stepped through.

When evidence starts to indicate that one of them is more than that though, each hero takes it upon himself to defend his new knowledge and the brother that it concerns, unbeknownst to the rest. After a long year of adventuring, time travel, and miscellaneous shenanigans, it was finally over. Dink was defeated, Ganon didn’t rise to power, and the world was already beginning to settle.
A thin plume of smoke rose from the forest.
Hidden, but not hiding, nine heroes across time laughed and chatted loudly by the campfire. Each of them had a smile on their faces, excited to return to their normal lives.
