Summary
Having lived in self imposed exile in Waterdeep, Gale's knowledge on vampires is enough to fill a thimble at best. He decides the best way to learn about them is to study them up close, i.e get to know/observe Astarion as they travel together in an effort to get rid of the tadpoles in their brains.
Gale learns more about Astarion and himself over the course of their journey, either intentionally or unintentionally carving out a space in his heart for the other man.

Steve Harrington never planned for Eddie Munson.
Steve was supposed to marry his high school sweetheart, have 2.5 children, and take over the family business. He was supposed to live a blissful life on a nondescript cul-de-sac, complete with a white picket fence and a closet full of tasteful polo shirts. He was supposed to make a graceful transition between being the golden boy and being the American Dream.
Mediocrity was what destiny had designed for Steve. Reality had other plans.

Eddie Munson wore shirts that showed off his torso and chipped black nail polish that looked fantastic when he played the guitar and he was everything that Steve Harrington most definitely was not. Steve Harrington managed to score a spot at a prestigious university through a combination of daddy’s money and impressive athletic ability. However, his charms as a star athlete hadn’t been enough to bury his increasingly evident bisexuality or win the heart of his dormmate, who definitely hated his guts.
It didn’t matter, though, because Steve hated Eddie right back. And, hey, it’s normal to check out your sworn enemy’s ass every once in a while.

“It’s a double date!” Robin blurted out and she feels both boys beside her stiffen.
“A…double date?” Nancy glanced at Steve and Eddie, a finger bouncing over each boy. “But…”
“Oh yeah, absolutely,” Robin linked her arm through Nancy and thanked every god that the streets were empty. “A double date. You and me, and Munson and Harrington.”

Spock, fed up with Stonn's attempts to elicit an emotional response from him, lies and says he has a significant other. Stonn is skeptical of his claim and when they have another run in a few days later, calls Spock out on the apparent lie. Spock doesn't want to give his cousin the satisfaction of knowing he lied, grabs the nearest beauty he sees and introduces Stonn to his boyfriend, Jim. Jim goes along with it and finds it amusing. Stonn leaves, obliviously jealous of Spock's new boyfriend, but ends up telling the whole family about Jim.
Now the family insists that Spock bring Jim to a family gathering on Vulcan.
Spock has dug himself a hole but at least Jim agrees to help. Will they be able to keep the ruse going? (Perhaps) Will feelings get in the way of their planned break-up after the gathering? (Definitely) Will Spock's Vulcan family adore Jim? (Of course they will!) -
