He lies frozen in the dark of their shared bedroom, listening to Seungmin’s steady breathing beside him. The alpha is sleeping on his stomach, one arm flung across the empty space between them, his face pressed into the pillow. Peaceful. Unaware.
Jeongin clenches his jaw and waits. Maybe it’s just a twinge. Maybe it’ll pass.
It doesn’t pass.
The second cramp rolls through him like a slow wave of broken glass, deeper this time, radiating down into his thighs and up his spine. His stomach clenches involuntarily, and he feels it — that horrible, slippery warmth between his legs.

“I know,” Minho hums again, like that part was never in question. His eyes flicker back up to him before darting away back to the trees. “Chan-ah told me all about you, Kim Seungmin-ssi. An awkward control freak lawyer, who can’t keep a roommate to save his life.”
ORIN WHICH Kim Seungmin needs a roommate and it takes him way too long to like his new roommate, Lee Minho. It's okay though, it takes both of them even longer to realize they like each other as more than just roommates, anyways.

“Minho-yah, what—what the fuck?!”
An ungodly shriek comes out of Jisung’s throat when he catches a sudden movement out of the corner of his eye, now seeing the root of Minho’s weird (but still less-weird-than-his-usual) questions.
There, in their shower booth, two cockroaches idle serenely on the ground, going on about their roach-y business. Their little heads move in synchrony when they register the two intruders that happened upon them in this wee hour of Tuesday morning.

Really, to Seungmin, Changbin’s desire to keep Hyunjin happy probably had more to do with this whole proposal than Changbin’s desire for Seungmin. If Hyunjin asked, Changbin would hand him the moon in a heartbeat, with an extra star thrown in as a gift.
That’s what Seungmin was in this situation.
Changbin and Hyunjin could live their perfect husband and wife relationship together, and Seungmin was a gift. A way for Hyunjin to finally satiate his fascination with Seungmin that had been building for eight long years and a way for Changbin to spoil Hyunjin, like he always did.
Of course, he was the gift.
At least, he was temporarily.

It was gone. Everything they had, everything they owned, was gone. The blankets, the pillows, the umbrella, the slip of paper from Jisung that they’d kept. Gone.

Summary
Hyunjin returns to the dorm late at night after a traumatic incident at the studio that he can’t bring himself to talk about. He hides what happened, convinced that if the members find out, they’ll see him differently, so he tries to carry on as normal while quietly falling apart.
As days pass, his behaviour changes and it becomes clear something is wrong. He withdraws from the group, struggles with sleep and touch, and begins to isolate himself more and more. The members notice, even if he won’t say anything, and slowly start surrounding him with quiet support instead of pressure. And if they found out what happened what would happen?
