Summary
Jaskier wasn't exactly sure what he had expected Kaer Morhen to be like but the keep was everything and nothing like it. The place was a dichotomy. Magnificent and sad in equal measures in its derelict state. Silent but full of noise. Cold yet filled with warmth.
But most importantly, it was Geralt's home. Seeing him so relaxed, the sharpest edges rounded down with the knowledge of being safe and surrounded by his family was a beautiful sight to behold.
Jaskier wished he too would relearn what safety felt like.

Summary
This SL continues a year after The Witcher-Something More where Ciri birthed the prophesied "Destroyer of Worlds." Set in the aftermath of the 3rd Nilfgaardian War, Emperor Emhyr now rules the Northern Kingdoms devastated by war, natural disasters and a plague more deadlier than the Catriona. Forcing Ciri to embrace her royal heritage to rule Nilfgaard in his stead, he has more sinister plans ensuring she and his grandson will be lifelong assets... Without the Witcher.
This Witcher's tale of a loyal and faithful Geralt amidst an pandemic, fighting for Ciri's happiness, and the survival of their marriage inspired by the events of the COVID19 pandemic. Chapter 11 gives Ciri's character arc a power ending she deserves but didn't get in the books or games.
