Or will she get a hold of herself a little bit too late? Watch in detached interest as Becky has a war with her Lexiconian instincts in this mediocre Worg fic.

Summary
Taking place vaguely post series; Caine waits out an itchingly uncomfortable length of time as the humans fufill their promise to keep both sides happy, where he wont have to be alone and they dont have to abandon their lives for the circus.
Though, Caine's cartoon theatrics dont do well when confined to the steel box that is a real life android body - no matter how flexible the plastic his jaws have been made from.
Mechanical dysphoria ends up being the least of their problems though, as the original circus program contained in his core has some... unsettled ghosts that begin to affect his daily judgement.

“King had no time to dwell on it, however, as he typed in the last line of code and pressed enter. By now, everything was unstable. He could even feel himself shake and glitch out (it felt almost like his skin was being torn off and put back on over and over again). The computer put on a loading bar, and he watched it go forward before reaching the very edge and stopping right before completing.
‘[BOINK!]’ he cursed as he reached out and shook the console.
The bar held still for an agonizing minute, in which Kinger could feel his insides being mixed up, a painful, nauseating feeling, but he held his ground and kept his eyes locked onto the computer screen.
‘For the love of God please,’ he said and smacked it with his hand. The bar finally moved and dinging sounded, not only from the computer, but from seemingly everywhere around him. The glitching stopped, and Kinger breathed a sigh of relief as everything stilled.”

Summary
The circus members had started to notice that something was different with Caine. Sure, he always acted unpredictable and in unusual ways, but that was just it— he was starting to become predictable! Predictable, in the sense, that whenever the circus's newest addition (a certain jester) offhandedly mentioned something, it was almost immediately in their next adventure! And that's not to mention all the glances, comments, glitches, and buffering that Caine had been experiencing. No, Caine wasn't being subtle about it. At least, not to the rest of them. But to Pomni? To himself? It would be a miracle if the thought even formed in their heads.
Or, I wanted an excuse to write some Showtime, because it's my crackship of the month. So here's a reimagining of TADC where Caine meets Pomni, and something inside his code shifts, and even if he doesn't understand it, it seems the others do. Mostly lighthearted fluff and hurt/comfort, because after that last episode we need it
