COMPLETED, OMG THIS WAS SOOOO GOOOODDD. Chap 4 will never not have me in a chokehold AHHHHHHHH. I just love love love the rationalisation of a mythical disease LIKE THATS SO CREATIVE AND SMARTTTTT.
But my favourite part in all of this is the emotional progression, the way love is portrayed and how it is interpreted by every character is amazing. It kind of subverts your expectations on how they are usually written but that in no way makes it less accurate to their character. I love the always honest senku with the overthinking, "shallow" Gen and I love how Gen as his own misconceptions about himself.

COMPLETED, the last available of this universe, it was truly a delight to accompany them this far just to leave on this very last station. Oh, how I've developed a new found hyperfixation on trains and intend to thoroughly watch the YouTube videos that inspired this wondrous series. The writing is immaculate really and everything is well paced being encompassed by a trip that is not only physical but emotional, I truly felt like I too was just another passerby, witnessing both the landscape and their achingly sweet love story.
Their relationship has fully enraptured my heart as the characterization is so well made that all of their quirks are perfectly adapted into this little awkward and witty relationship. Ahh the hopeless romantic inside of me couldn't be more satisfied. I know for sure that I'll be missing them and therefore I'll be back to visit them, until then, see you at the next station, hopefully in less then 3000 miles!!!!

Needless to say, taking a transcontinental trip across America via train with a science-obsessed stranger was not what he had expected when he decided to abandon his lush lifestyle in Japan. Completed, read this in what? 3 days???? While in college???? Probably spent to much time on this and too little time catching up on my already belated studies but it doesn't matter for every second was worth it. Oh I will certainly reread this one not only for the sheer pleasure that was reading this but because I fully intend to annotate and research about every niche topic, both psychological and astronomical, that lays herein. Ty for this amazing read!!! It boosted my mood exponentially and I am dreading the fact that I have to let it go for it has ended. ABSOLUTE CINEMA

"Yes, Mr... Enjin." He heard the discomfort in her voice, having to call him by his first (and only) name. "I'm sorry, we are calling about Rudo. You'll have to pick him up, principal's office, your son's been caught fighting with another student."
Great. Just what he fucking needed after a day of arguing with half-grown kids on the job. But, being his guardian, he could hardly refuse. Thus, he muttered a 'be there in ten' into the speaker, hung up before she had any chance to add more and, on his way out, called Bro to let him know he'd be alone for the rest of the day. At least that man had his kids in check, and would manage their job just as well on his own. He'd buy him drinks for the hassle, next time they went out together, Enjin set a mental note to make sure.

The kiss is everything Zanka thought it would be, it's filthy, it’s disgusting, it’s like sharing the spliff, sharing spit, sharing their intoxication, Zanka hates it, he sinks his hand into Jabber’s hair, tugs hard enough that Jabber howls, and fights until it’s him pushing Jabber against the wall.
Jabber moans, his back arching, “Fuck, fuck, Zan-zan, you’re makin’ me so hard,” and his words make something climb up Zanka’s back, especially when a hand slips under his shirt, throws it over his head, and Zanka’s quick to do the same, and he’s never done this before, but it’s familiar in every way, ignorant in every other. The ugly, timid thing inside of him is wailing, it's fallen down into his gut, it’s screaming with every push of their tongues.

As a vampire, Zanka Nijiku should be revered. A protector of mankind. After all, that’s what the Hell Guard were. Except, he was exceedingly normal by human standards. Yes, by human standards. Yes, he was a vampire. No, he wasn’t anything special. No, he wasn’t a part of the Hell Guard, at least, not anymore.
However, he was, most certainly, a disappointment to many.
Instead of living the life of a celebrity or hero like most vampires, he was an average college freshman. Perhaps his life would be peaceful if he didn't get so many stares due to his few vampiric features. Oh, and if it weren't for the annoying prick that sat next to him in his biology lecture that couldn't take a hint that he was unwanted.
OR: Zanka is a defective vampire and Jabber is secretly a werewolf. They might kiss.

Zanka never felt good enough. The more exams at school, the more time and effort he put into studying; with his hard work, he could score at least 90, which still guaranteed him a high place in the school’s student ranking – despite this fact, he pushed himself even more beyond his abilities, just to not make his family disappointed. It still wasn’t enough for him.
On the other hand there was Jabber. An easy-going and laid back guy, who never really cared for grabbing a textbook and actually studying. What was suprising, his scores were almost perfect. With barely any effort, he easily outperformed Zanka at many academic areas and made himself go up in the school ranking. This annoyed Zanka as hell – how could Jabber, some random dude, be better at so many subjects than him?
One day, Jabber offers to help Zanka with chemistry. Little did they knew it would spiral into something serious. But will it be something necessarily bad?
