Deku laughs a little, even though he looks happy to hear it. “That’s very sweet,” he says, “but I meant out of everyone else.”
Oh. Eri considers this, but after what happened today she doesn’t really have to think about it. “Kacchan,” she tells him. She likes Kacchan because he’s nice and because he doesn’t treat her like she’s fragile and because he made her cookies. And she knows Deku likes him a lot, too, so she knows it’s a good answer.
“Do you want to know a secret, Eri?” Deku smiles again. “Kacchan is my favorite, too.”
Or Katsuki makes it his business to befriend Eri, and realizes he has a lot in common with this traumatized kid.

Katsuki leans back. “You’re really gonna drag me into high hero society and pretend I’m your boyfriend.”
Deku smirks. “Oh, Kacchan. You’re gonna sell it better than anyone.”
Katsuki groans and orders a steak. If he’s gonna do this, he might as well eat something expensive while he feels his dignity slipping away.

Summary

Aizawa-sensei has never lied to him, not when it mattered, and Katsuki needs the words to hit him like a blow, like a slap to the face: this is it, this is the end, this is game over. There is no second chance, not this time.
“Bakugou,” Aizawa-sensei says. “You’re going to die.”

Izuku wasn’t sure where the idea came from, or why anyone could have ever thought it was a good idea. Ripped away from the dark runway that he called home base, Izuku was thrown into what the scavengers had warned him of—legal custody of a hero.
Or, in his case, multiple heroes.
He wasn’t sure why. He wasn’t even sure the specific date—he could never keep track of time, anyway, not with all that went on—but one minute he was baring his teeth to another person and the next he was somewhere calm and without blood or smoke. One moment he was there and the next he was being told he was safe, now. He was safe then. Izuku had been safe this whole time.
He didn’t know what they were talking about.
(or: izuku is just trying to escape his new legal custodians after being stolen from the only life he knew. the universe has other plans for him, including healing.)

He - he couldn’t do this there had to be another way -Bakugou is kidnapped in the fallout of the summer training camp, but this time he's not alone. The villains have a failsafe in case he turns them down, and don't plan on letting him pick anything but a life of villainy.
Eventual recovery/relationship - but Bakugou's gotta get over some extensive trauma first.

A secret affair between visiting prince Kirishima and servant Bakugou was bound for disaster, especially since Kirishima's sole purpose for visiting Yuuei was to secure a marriage alliance with Princess Ochako. So their agreement was simple: enjoy it while it lasts, then part before the wedding. They could handle the pain afterward.
However, Katsuki had failed to consider the consequences of betraying a princess, just as he had underestimated how deeply he could fall for Kirishima. He should have known better than to get involved in the games of royalty.
Or; a forbidden romance fic set in medieval Europe with some hints of Greek mythology.

Summary
Dropping the edge of his shirt, letting the fabric cover his ribs and hide the mottled bruises from view, Katsuki decides, “I’m fucked.” That admittance forces a laugh out of him, dry and humorless and ringing hollowly through his empty room. He’s alone, both literally and figuratively. It's not as if he could tell anybody. He couldn’t even tell his parents, because his mother would just find some way to make it his fault, and his father would agree with her because that’s all he ever did.
Katsuki repeats, “I’m fucked,” and laughs again, louder, like it's funny. Like all of this - the ache of his chest and the pain that flares through it with every breath he takes - is nothing but one big joke, and he’s the punchline.
That’s all he feels like, anymore.

There are some injuries that you just can’t walk off. Unfortunately, this is a lesson that Katsuki learns the hard way.
