OR: Venti wakes up in America and meets the Guild before they go to Japan. This changes... everything.

Summary
Nakahara Chuuya has always been yearning for freedom.
His ex-partner, Osamu Dazai, had fled the Port Mafia on wings of freedom, tainted by sorrow, flying out of its darkest pits by the enlightening words of his dead mentor upto the abode of heaven, the ADA, a place where Chuuya could never quite reach, no matter how high he flew, even if he could manipulate gravity itself.
Freedom was something he could never achieve, a salvation far out of reach, for an inhumane experiment like him, bound by the chains of gravity itself, confined to the Port Mafia—his house, his lodgings, his captor—
So, when he is sent by his boss to investigate on an Ability outside of Japan, he obliges, like the dog he is, constricted by gravity to the ground, though he was the user, always the urge to fly, to be free of gravity itself—
He departs to the place of the distrubances and encounters a new world, and stumbles upon a City of Freedom, where a bard with unsettling aqua green eyes— the breeze which brings storm or seeds, stories or destruction— offers him what his heart yearned for— Freedom.

They don’t ask for payment, and Venti rarely offers. He thanks them with a song or a story, and everybody ends up satisfied. He doesn’t seem to want for anything, and if he did, the Church would provide it. That is how it is in Mondstadt.

Venti, the Anemo Archon, Mondstadt's beloved Bard, a absolute menace when it comes to taking care of himself in medical ways!
Venti never gets completely burnt out like the other Archons had, he took breaks, defended Mondstadt when it was out of everyone's control, kept his workload to a minimum. Sure, you could call him lazy, a drunkard, etc. Maybe some of it could be true at times! But Venti still helped around a lot!
So when Mondstadt's beloved Bard and secret Archon had his Gnosis (Presumably) stolen and got sick a couple weeks after... What does he do? He throws an Archon reunion, of course!
Aka
Venti gets some kind of Fatui virus stuck where La Signora stole (or tried to steal) his Gnosis... Making Venti get Ill... But instead of doing something about it, our lovely procrastinating Bard decides to throw a party instead!!
Plus, did I mention the Fatui are everywhere? No? Well now they are.

Ahh, truly, he could go on and on! What a shame it is that hardly anyone outright asks for help for the Windblume Festival, he has more than a few pointers that he would gladly give out. At least, that’s what he thought—until a particular request comes to him, asking for a trip he could not forget: to venture deep into the ruins of Old Mondstadt.
