Unfortunately, they don't have a choice in the matter, and they have to judge these ten prisoners in some way. However...Jackalope did say that Es could judge the prisoners based on whatever criteria they wanted. Why not judge whether these prisoners are forgivable or not forgivable, innocent or guilty, on their skills at arbitrary things? That seems like a more fair way to judge them, right...?
