That night she gazed out her bedroom window with his coat resting on her lap. The anguish of the Poisson tragedy lingered, but a new warmth began to build inside her heart when she gazed upon the coat the Iudex gifted her.

I've been playing Old World Blues, and I refuse to kill Lobotomites because they're victims too-I beat them unconscious with my terrible 7dps fatigue damage hand wraps. It's terrible. So hard. But! I've had several what surely are glitch experiences now, where one will stay marked hostile, but just watch and not attack, even if I get up in his face, and it's really interesting. But the thought was still there in the back of her mind, vague and nebulous and, worst of all, revealing in a way that made her feel some undefined mixture of vulnerable and irritated. So what? Maybe she had planned to. But it was something that needed to be fixed and understood, and meticulous planning was what she did regardless of the subject; the question she had hoped to answer wasn’t any more significant than any other question she had ever had.
At any rate, there was no denying one thing: of all people, she’d kissed Junkrat.

Spider-Man smelled like a woman who dyed her hair and used lemongrass shampoo, he smelled like a school cafeteria, like books and laptops and kids with bright futures crammed together. Used to. The kid didn’t smell like a school anymore, and he didn’t smell like a woman who used lemongrass shampoo. He smelled like some rundown apartment with mold in the walls, and like cheap laundromat soap and exhaustion. He was hungry, by the way his stomach sounded, not just growling but too empty. He was on his own.
