Summary
Donnie straightened, reading the words a second time. A third time. He rubbed at his eyes to make sure he read it correctly. There was no way. The serum was making complete sense in his brain and it was only exciting him further.
“No way,” Donnie breathed. Pieces of the puzzle were beginning to click in his brain. “Oh, no fucking way.”
“I think I know you well enough to say you’re scaring me,” Casey said.
“I’m a genius,” Donnie said. “I mean, I know that. It’s undeniable at this point, but I am feeling so affirmed right now, because I just. I did that, Casey. I just…”
Casey blinked at him. “Please clarify?”
Donnie didn’t. He let the silence stretch so the pieces could fall into place, beginning to shake with excitement. He could go where no man had gone before, fix Casey’s problems like he desperately wanted to, and most importantly, break the laws of nature.
“Donnie?” Casey’s voice was small, because he’d spent enough time around a Donatello to know that face.
He had an idea.

Summary
The Techno drone wasn’t meant to be ever separated from its pilot. Yet Donnie forcibly got ripped out of it. But that never meant that the Techno Drone also got ripped out of Donnie. Or that the softshell’s parts all come back with him. What will a turtle do if he finds out that he’s partially Krang and that part is actually the majority of him?
Or the Techno Drone didn’t just Krangified, but straight up made Donnie 70% Krang. Of course with a species change comes some freaky new instinct, issues and body horror worthy transformations. Drowning in intense self hatred and fear of losing his brothers ( especially his twin) of course he tries to face all these challenges all alone.
Basically another Krang-Donnie AU, but trust me this is going to be a rollercoaster of very gory, very sweet and have a lot of made up Krang lore you never knew you needed.

What if instead of Leo, Donatello was the very last mutant alive? What if he was thrown fourteen years into the past to fix Leonardo's mistake? To stop the seemingly inevitable apocalypse?
Even worse, what if they only had three days to find the Key that unleashes the Krang? The same key that Dee had been trying to find for fourteen years, even trying to find its previous location before the invasion of the Krang and their ship proved futile.
What if, through these attempts at saving the world, he realizes that his world isn't a planet, it isn't the Earth. It's a person. The person who he could've been, the one he needs to protect. So that Donnie can have the opportunity to be the things that Dee feels it's too late for himself to be.
(Future Donatello is referred to as 'Dee' and present/past Donatello is referred to as 'Donnie')
