An unique interpretation of Sonic the Hedgehog's off-screen relationship with famous rival Shadow the Hedgehog based on canon and other media events. Summary
Shadow overhears a conversation between Sonic and Amy that hints at a part of Sonic's past he's never heard about. The revelation unsettles Shadow deeply, sparking a storm of internal thoughts. What happened? Does Shadow need or deserve to know? Does Sonic not trust him?
Even worse, Shadow has to face the fact that in the past, he hurt someone he loves in the present.
OR, does anyone think about Shadow having guilt about them fighting when they were rivals if they're now lovers, especially if those fights did damage?

Summary
I don't know how to summarize this because it's pretty much a newsies retelling but a whole lot darker and based off of the 1991 original draft script of Newsies when it was originally drama and not a Disney musical. Content warnings will be added as the chapters are updated!!!
