Summary
Felix’s eyes snapped up. He knew that voice. But that voice shouldn’t be there. Couldn’t be there. The last time he’d heard that voice was a few years ago over the phone, shortly after he started college, both of them apologizing profusely for how long it had been since they had talked, and both of them promising they’d make plans the next time they were in the same city. Felix just hadn’t expected next time to be during his wedding.
He was panicking, looking out at the crowd of friends and family, but mostly complete strangers, when he made eye contact with the one person he hadn’t allowed himself to look for the whole ceremony. The person who hadn’t rsvp’d. The one person he never expected to be there.
OR: Felix is forced into an arranged marriage that neither he nor the groom wants, set up by their parents. Everything changes when two unexpected guests appear at the eleventh hour, bearing their hearts, and one of them, a piece of Felix's childhood he never forgot.

After rinsing his mouth and splashing cold water on his face, Minho stared at his reflection in the mirror. Pale, tired eyes stared back, the skin beneath them shadowed and hollow, dark circles spreading like bruises. He let out a breath through his nose, but it caught halfway. His throat tightened suddenly, and for a moment, tears threatened to spill—though he couldn’t say why.
He wasn’t pregnant. He knew that. The nausea wasn’t from that.
And yet, here he was again—day after day—waking up sick, irritable, drained beyond reason, emotions fraying at the edges like loose threads.
He gripped the edge of the sink tightly. “Get it together,” he muttered under his breath. “You’re not even in pre-heat yet.”
or: After a rough heat leaves Minho at his lowest, Yongbok persuades him to try a mating cycle app to find a compatible alpha. Reluctantly, Minho gives in — but in the end, he discovers he might not have needed the app after all.

They all burst out laughing, the idea somehow feeling both terrifying and absurdly fun. Hyunjin whips out his phone and starts scrolling through Pinterest, showing them designs. “Check this out, boys. Says ‘I am yours’ on the lower back. That’s so cringe."
Felix snorts, “That’s pretty soft. I reckon I can rock that.”
All three crack up at the thought of one of them walking around with that inked forever. But Hyunjin’s not done. “Wait, wait! I found something even worse!” He shows them another tattoo: babydoll right in the same spot.
Jisung shudders dramatically. “Guys, maybe we should just study really hard instead.”
Felix grabs his calculator, flips open his textbook, and grins, “Yeah… I’m not keen on walking around with ‘babydoll’ on my arse.”
Three days later, he was the only one with a failing grade.
