Leo dies in the prison dimension.
What he wasn't expecting was to suddenly wake up and find himself the size of a football, and with a tendency to shed worse than Splinter on a bad hair day.
Now, he has to deal with the pieces of a broken family and help them overcome their grief over his own death, all while figuring out how to stop a crazy government agent from getting his hands on his brothers— and in addition to somehow getting used to having four paws.
He’ll be lucky if he survives till the end of the week— but then again, if he was lucky he wouldn’t be in this mess to begin with.

Summary
Nearly a year after the barrier came down, monsters are enjoying life up on the surface. No more resets. With this newfound freedom, Sans is content to sit back and relax- for real, this time- for the first time in years. With their journey over, Frisk has the chance to grow up and live a normal (or as normal as living with monsters can get) life. But turns out, when the monsters were freed, the story wasn't quite over.
When Sans goes missing at a camping trip and there is news of a dangerous beast roaming the woods, everyone is put on guard. But as monsters start disappearing, and the human government is creating problems, Frisk and their friends are forced to dig into Sans' past to find a way to stop all of this.
As it turns out, the laid-back skeleton is hiding more than they could've ever imagined. And to save him, they have to uncover the scars of his past.

Undyne winced, throat feeling tight. She fought with the strange emotions warring within her before she regained some semblance of control. Her hands clenched into fists at her sides, nails digging into her palms, and her teeth gritted audibly. "Because what you did was wrong - so cruelly, inexcusably wrong - that there's no way you can ever be forgiven. Do you GET that?!"
There were some timelines Sans couldn't bear to remember. They made him feel ill and shaky inside, like dwelling on them too long would tear him apart from within. And, while that alone sucked in a whole lot of ways, the worst by far was how hard it made it for him to live a good, happy, normal life on the Surface.
The small skeleton's shoulders slumped, all the energy draining out of him. He looked back at Undyne with a deep, deep pain - a pain Undyne couldn't even fathom. "...yeah. i think i do."
