“Hey! Wait!” Phillip heard suddenly from behind him.
His head turned around, hands still crossed on the railing of the bridge. The loudness of someone’s foot’s hitting the bridges pavement, running towards him echoed through the quiet night.
“What’s your name?!” The girl questioned quickly. Phillips eyebrows furrowed. “Phillip?”. She looked over the bridge, back to Phillip. “Oh! Hey I think we have a class together.” She slowly took Phillip’s hands off the railing, moving the boy away from it entirely. However much she tried to sound sweet and put together, the panic on her face was too much to ignore.
“Do you like ramen?” She asked shakily, still guiding him away from the bridge. Phillip nodded slowly, “I mean, it’s okay?”.
“Great, good,” she mumbled, taking in a deep breath. “I know a nice place with some good ramen, I’ll pay.” It wasn’t even a question. Phillip smiled awkwardly. “Okay?” And they were off. Away from that bridge. -

Please see the latest chapter regarding my choice to go on a temporary hiatus.

It was there that she would encounter hardships greater than anything she had ever faced, and found friends (and possibly even family) in the most unlikely of places. She changed, grew, and experimented. Throughout it, she had one goal: to make it out alive and earn her freedom. Maybe, she wouldn't have to do it alone.

An endless loop, the same thing constantly replayed over and over again. Nothing to stop it. It's the same old, same old, no expectations of anything new because there simply couldn't be. Every ending led back to the beginning.
So imagine the shock of a priest, tourist, and expendable when the loop halted. It wasn't the same old because there was something new in play.
Shocking, of course, none know just how to feel at first, only answer seemed to be pointing fingers and saying clearly the other was a threat.
Not that they knew as a group, but they knew individually that this meant there was hope for their loop to stop. For good.Through their hatred they learn that, MAYBE, they should listen to the guy who's been replaying the loop through gathering this stupid crystal and KNOWS the place, and MAYBE that guy should stop being a prick and learn to communicate.
He can say it's because they haven't had human contact in years worth of this loop all he wants, but can he really tell himself that's what it is when his mind goes blank at the thought of losing these people?
