James finally looked up then, his grin wicked.“Oh, mi amor,” he said lowly, his thumb pressing into the soft skin of Regulus’s stomach as he slid his other hand lower, fingers brushing the waistband of his jeans.
“I don’t come back because you’re patient,” he said, leaning in so his lips brushed Regulus’s ear. “I come back because watching you fall apart before I even fuck you properly is the best part.”

We’re falling through space, Regulus, you and me. We’re clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go…”

After travelling the world and pursuing a career in Magizoology he now finds himself working at one of the highest-ranked centres for magical creatures in the Wizarding world.
Their first meeting makes sparks of disdain crackle between them and it seems unlikely that anything, not even the old magic of Edinburgh, will be enough to bridge over the reality of who they are and where they come from.
