Set in Season 7 between all things and post Brand X. After Mulder and Scully first have sex. To no one's surprise, they are not communicating about it well and Scully has to break the ice. A lot of nitty gritty character moments. A little bit funny, very sweet, and fairly explicit.
Stands on its own but also as a follow up to "Stay".

Inspired by the Revival scene where Scully asks Mulder how he operates so well with his hands cuffed behind his back and he makes it clear this isn't the first time she's had him restrained.
On their first field assignment since having the sex. Scully is fed up with the patriarchy and Mulder is more than happy to help her smash it, in bed.
This stands alone but continues from my other works, Stay, At Last, and Since When.

Summary
Set during Season 6x08 The Rain King, with references to FTF and Triangle. After a cow falls through the ceiling of Mulder's hotel room, and the hotel is full to bursting thanks to a high school reunion, he and Scully have to share her room. Mulder decides they should lean into the high school theme and pretend it's a high school slumber party - snacks, games, magazine quizzes, pillow fight - everything the movies has told him teenage girls would do at a sleepover. Scully is less convinced. Mulder does walk her through a 'How to tell if you love the guy' type quiz which leads to some interesting confessions and revelations.

It all starts when Mulder catches a glimpse of Scully's tattoo and asks her if she'd get another. She answers far too quickly for him to believe she wouldn't. In fact, Scully is considering something, but she knows if she told him before she gets it done, she'd never hear the end of it. Instead, she imagines the way he might react as he finds it and explores her body.
This one is thoughtful, planned. It has meaning, intent. She knows ‘they’ say to never get your lover’s name tattooed, but he’s not her lover…yet. And technically, it’s not his name.
