He's still a little too powerful but that's just his genius leaking out.

Summary
For the sake of the story, All Might is never in need of a successor, and, when Izuku saves Katsuki from the sludge monster, encourages young Midoriya down a different path. Thus, Katsuki and Izuku part ways after junior high, as Katsuki enters U.A. and the Midoriyas move overseas. It’s later that Katsuki realizes that there’s something missing, that he drove that something away.
Years after, Katsuki finds him in the last place he looks, in the cereal aisle at the local grocery store of their childhood neighborhood.

When suddenly his whole world revolves around one person...no...that person is his whole world. Now he just needs to get the courage to make them believe in it.

Summary
First chapter is inspired by bb (Ume)'s - Akatsuki no Agito bakudeku doujin.
In this fanatsy au Bakugou only ever wanted to do was to marry Deku and live his life the way he wanted. However, his fate is against this relationship and it cost him what he wanted most. This turned Bakugou into a cruel and vicious Dragon King until he finds Deku again only to learn that not only has he forgotten all about him, but has actually promised himself to someone else. Determined to make sure Deku never leaves his side again, Bakugou will do what it takes to bond his soul with Deku's forever.
Meanwhile Assassins Kaninari, Shinsou and Monoma are hired to stop the Dragon King at all cost but are stuck trying to get through a Dragon Knight, and Edgy Prince and a Lonley Bandit before they can reach to him.
