Soon Techno found himself stalking Tommy more often than not. He found it very easy to justify it to himself, as he wasn’t going to hurt the kid, and the kid needed someone to look out for him.
It’s a good thing he was there, as Techno found several people were after Tommy’s head. Jack and Niki were always in the background, lurking, looking for the right opportunity to strike. The Eggpire wasn’t even trying to be subtle, attempting to lure him away.
Even Tommy was smart enough to try and get away, but they were getting more insistent, and less willing to leave him alone. Techno was becoming more and more sure that one day they’d decide they had enough and would just grab Tommy and drag him off. Tommy wasn’t a horrible fighter, but even Techno would struggle against a 9 foot demon, a mercenary, and a possessed cat. He’d win of course, but he would struggle. Tommy wouldn’t stand a chance.
OR-Techno decides that Tommy needs to be protected.

So when a friend came along and offered for Tommy to visit his place one last time before he left and never see each other again for good, who is Tommy to deny?

“What? No!” Tommy replied indignantly, though it didn’t have the same bite it usually did, with how thin, pale, and hollow he looked.
“Maybe it needs to be fresh” Tubbo replied frantically “Maybe, maybe you just need to take from someone living. Just a little, it might help.”
Tommy was hesitant, but did take a nip, just to placate him. Still, he didn’t actually suck any blood. He just bit, then spit out his wrist like it was the most bitter taste in the world.
“It’s not the same” he mumbled, wrapping himself in the blankets on the bed.
OR-Tommy is a newly turned fledgling who just escaped, but is too young to drink from anyone other than his sire. Desperate to save his friend Tubbo has to betray not only him but also everything he stands for
