Summary
His irises look much more golden than before, more cat-like than human. They’re so- god, they’re pretty like that. And it’s only for a few moments, for as Yoongi blinks rapidly again, the gold is gone, his eyes back to being the black holes they looked like just moments before. They look darker, deeper, and not only in colour.
And it’s just as pretty, but different.
Yoongi looks embarrassed, though, fixing the beanie on his head before looking anywhere but at Jeongguk. His shoes are suddenly the most interesting thing in the cafe, and Namjoon’s voice seems soothing him enough to get through his first interaction with another hybrid in years.[Or, the one in which Yoongi learns to trust again, and falls in love with Jeongguk along the way.]

Summary
When Jeongguk's usual babysitter cancels last minute, he begs old friend Yoongi to take care of his daughter during rehearsal for his upcoming concert.
Taking care of a kid is easy; it just becomes a lot more complicated when she refuses to let Yoongi go.
A picture of him and Yoongi, right at the top, almost hidden as the others overlap, concealing it; he would have missed it had it not been for the familiar sight of Jeongguk’s cheeks mushed against his, lips pursed together in a pout, eyes straight at the camera. They were no older than eighteen, nineteen here, having only just abandoned their school jackets and shirts for casual tees and shorts in the blazing summer heat before they split off for their lives.

Jeongguk rents the apartment because it's a) cheap, and b) three blocks away from campus.
It’s nice enough. There’s a living room, a small kitchen, and his bedroom can fit all of his filming equipment. The desk is built into the walls, and although it’s a bit rusted, it serves its purpose.
What Jeongguk unfortunately didn’t account for was one Min Yoongi.

With the advice of Seokjin, Namjoon gets his just desserts which comes in the shape of his best friend, Min Yoongi.

“Liar."
“It’s really not!” the boy insists and subtly cleans his sticky hands on his poorly-sewn shirt.
“Did you come all the way from there—“ he asks and points to the path “— with your own honey to eat my pine cones?”
He kicks the cone that’s laying at his feet and the boy’s eyes follow its trajectory. He swallows.
