“You care to remind me why you needed me here too?” he hissed, looking up at him.
“I am Titan Sub-Zero’s closest timeline. He requested my help and asked that I bring you with me,” Liu Kang pressed his fingertips together, “His message was cut short after that, and I could not reach him again. I hope it is nothing too serious.”

After being on the run for some time, Bi-Han and Shang Tsung start to grow bored of hiding in the shadows of Outworld. So they start to ponder if there is a way to travel to Earthrealm without alerting the fire God Liu Kang and his allies. But that is cut short when they spot him walking amongst the Outworlders, so they run the other way, praying he hadn't noticed them.
Unfortunately they were not so lucky and end up in an altercation with him in a dingy alleyway. With nowhere to run, Shang makes an offer to Liu Kang, one that he knows he can't turn down. To Bi-Han's horror that deal exposes his secret and reveals to Liu Kang that he has taken a liking to him.

Liu Kang teleports the three of them to Earthrealm so they can fuck.

The Titan stopped one of his guards to ask them if they've noticed anything unusual. They informed him that Lord Liu Kang was waiting for him in his quarters. Bi-han frowned at that.
Lord Liu Kang? He had not been expecting him.

And despite being the doppelganger for Bi-Han he had created, they were opposites in many ways. Where his Bi-Han had been filled with doubts and rage, this Bi-Han was filled with confidence and knowledge from his years spent as a Titan. In the beginning it had all felt like a chance at redemption, a chance to do right by at least this version of Bi-Han in ways he could not with his own creation.
It had felt like chasing after a ghost, clinging to what he thought he needed.
