He goes to lectures at night and tries to make a living on minimal hours of sleep during the day at his convenience store job. However, rent had been getting harder to pay lately, meaning his work at the store just wasn't cutting it anymore.

Minho swallowed hard, voice breaking. “Why do you get no kindness, and I do? Why can you hate yourself and I’m supposed to ignore it?”
Felix’s breath hitched, voice trembling. “Because you aren’t me.”

Summary
Felix was just trying to love them the only way he knew how. To him, the raw steak was a hunt, the 'creepy' guarding was protection, and the messy nest was home. But to the rest of Stray Kids, it was just a string of weird behavior that was getting in the way of the comeback.
After a final, devastating rejection leaves him scrubbing his skin raw to get rid of his own scent, Felix walks out. It takes the ATEEZ 'protection squad' and a very angry San to make the members realize they didn't have a problem - they had a partner they were too blind to see. Now, they have to learn to speak 'cat' fast, or lose their sunshine for good.

Felix hates that voice. It's too safe. Chan knows exactly what tone to use to make Felix feel comfortable and usually Felix appreciates it. Right now? He needs it to not be happening.

God, sometimes it is so frustrating how well Chan knows him. That he knows when Felix is going to argue so he stops it before the words even leave Felix's mouth. That he knows the difference between when Felix is refusing to talk and when he simply can't.
OR, the one where Felix pushes his regression down for far too long, and eventually something has to give.

For a long moment, Felix just stared at him, his expression caught between exhaustion and wariness. The silence stretched, and Chan’s heart hammered painfully against his ribs.
Then, Felix gave the smallest of nods.
It was barely anything, but to Chan, it was everything.
In that instant, he knew. With a certainty so fierce it left him breathless, Chan knew this boy—this fragile, freckled, fire-hearted omega—was his mate.
And nothing in this world would ever change that.

Felix only learned the bare minimum amount of Korean he needed to live through day-to-day life. No, he wasn’t being lazy; Korean was just an incredibly complex language. He was already stressed out of his mind, and he didn’t need one more thing to worry about. He knew how to hold a basic conversation, how to take coffee orders, and how to ask for directions. That was all he needed, really, and people usually gave him grace. They would coo at his fumbled pronunciation, and one shining smile was all it took for them to brush it away; enamored enough by his charm to even leave a tip. He could slip into the background, quietly working to piece back together the shattered remains of his life by himself.
But then there was Hyunjin.

Felix escapes from an abusive pack and flees to Korea. Hyunjin introduces him to his pack to help him find his way. Turns out, they can all use a little help.
