Knock knock knock
“Jesus Christ! Hold on,” he mumbles, floating down the steps. He flicks on the porch light and yanks the door open. “What the hell are you–” He freezes.
For a moment, he really does believe he’s dreaming. You know, given that not a single fucking thing about this situation makes any goddamn sense. Because on the short trip from his bedroom to the front door, Mike made a list in his head of all of the people that could potentially be on the other side. It was a rather abbreviated list, to be fair: The cops. Nancy. His landlady, Freida. That one drunk guy he occasionally gives a cigarette to if he happens to be smoking on his porch when he walks by.
But it’s not any of those people. It’s Will. A year older, soaking wet, shivering with a waterlogged duffel bag slung over his left shoulder. Yeah. He’s dreaming. Because he had spoken to Will on the phone not even ten hours ago. He was about to go on his three year anniversary date with his long term boyfriend in New York City.
OR:
Will needs some space from his boyfriend, James, and for whatever reason, he decides to take that space at Mike's townhouse in Boston. Mike is going to be so normal about it.

Will has a terrifying problem in the shape of Mike Wheeler becoming completely obsessed with him. While Mike wishes to explore this new found passion toward Will, Will must continue to ensure nothing happens between them while Mike is drunk on Love. Because no matter how much he would very much like to kiss Mike Wheeler, he understands that it's not really Mike wanting him. And once the spell breaks, he fears any desires Will caves into might ruin their friendship.

Mike leans back on the couch, thighs spreading to place his worn-out backpack between them. Will traces the outline of them underneath the bagginess of his jeans.
“Oh, do they? Looks like someone’s used to the princess treatment.” Mike teases, glinting pupils a contrast to his dark eyeliner.
Oblivious and unexpecting, Will has his first encounter buying weed; ergo, his first encounter with Mike Wheeler. But what he really doesn't expect is the way Mike stares at Will, intrigued eyes over the joint in his mouth. Nor the way Will later decides he needs to have him.

A transparent earpiece sticks out of their right ears and disappears under the collars of their dark shirts. Standing like that, they look like statues carved from black marble. My attention is drawn to one of them, on the far left of the trio, whose face looks familiar.

Mike Wheeler remembers everything.

A laugh snuck behind Will’s throat, eventually escaping. The sun from the window above the sink cuddled closely with his Brunette hair and gracefully made its way to Mike’s cold eyes.
Will was the sun, so much that Helios would go as far as to envy a mortal.
“Yeah, Mike, I’m sure.” Will walked over to where Mike was kneeling, standing over him. It wasn’t intimidating… no, it was calming.
The curtains from the kitchen window flapped against the white stone around it. For a second, they sat there. Mike desperately wanted to lock his eyes onto one singular part of Will, but he couldn’t. Every inch of him was radiating in a way he had never seen before. At that moment, he wasn’t real. Nothing was real.
