Whispering soft murmurs of yearning and need to the wind becomes a regular occurrence to Lumine by now, as she learned how Venti would reply to her in any given situation. She had experimented on this, of course. Mumbling her want to be beside him in the depths of the night, telling him about the sakura blossoms fluttering down the trees in the crack of dawn, the drunkard bard seemingly responded every time.
Lumine misses a certain tone-deaf god, and spills her wants to the wind. Venti hears her yearning, he always does.

His chest constricts hard enough to rip his breath away, the slim tendrils of daylight that stream through the dense canopy of the tangle have faded - darkness filling the village, the gym, everything. Gloria twisted on the ground. Broken sobs paired with the roars of a furious beast. Gloria twisted.... The glow of the mushrooms are monstrous, evil. An omen. Something is calling from the forest, the cry inaudible to most, but pulling the marked one in.
