"We both love him," EMF stated the obvious. It shut Seawatt's sneaky mouth, leaving a taste of satisfaction in theirs. "It's not going to work out for either of us."

The sun is at its highest point, but that doesn't justify the heat he feels on his face.
The person blinks slowly, languidly, batting their eyelashes to reveal a shimmering gem purple that seems to absorb the sunlight, one of the colors the sky takes on when the sun goes down, the color his sword carries. They open their mouth, lips chapped and shiny, and utters...
"It is you."
Evbo's heart is turned upside down.
