“Do you poop, then?”
“Not sure? I mean, this dying thing is pretty new. I haven’t tested it out yet.”
He nods, sagely. “It’s a mystery, then. Hey, do you want to join my crew?”
Smiling, smiling, smiling. His eyes are dark as they track the shape of it. They wonder if he can see the way it trembles. “Shouldn’t you introduce yourself first? Kinda rude to just up and proposition a stranger like that.”
They already know what he’s going to say.
They’ve known what he was going to say since they woke up and saw the hat.

He stopped for a moment on the threshold, fully prepared to fend off an infuriated Kunikida, but... the man seemed not to have noticed him arrive, sitting at his desk and typing away only 3% more furiously than he did on days when Dazai decided not to annoy him - in other words, when Dazai didn't show up to work. Which was 447% less than he would usually be on mornings when Dazai was as late as he was now. Hm.

Ikezu is a frontline medic from the 145th Branch of the Marines, whose future is uncertain. Still clinging to the memory of someone dear, Ikezu finds little purpose in serving under the World Government and keeping on with his master's legacy.
