Stiles yelps as he’s pulled off the edge of the field and under the bleachers. He flails, managing to smack the person in the face mostly by accident. His assailant releases his jacket with a swear and, when Stiles turns around, he’s face to face with Derek Hale. Slightly-stubbled, cologne-scented, dreamy-eyed, captain-of-the-basketball-team Derek Hale.
“What the fuck?” Stiles squeaks. Derek immediately puts his hand over Stiles’s mouth.
“Shut up,” he growls. Stiles is glad that the other boy can’t hear his heartbeat right now because it is going crazy. He doesn’t want to admit how many ‘we have to be quiet under the bleachers’ fantasies he’s had about Derek, but they certainly didn’t go like this. Still, it’s intoxicating to be so close to him, to feel the muscle in his forearm.
Derek wrinkles his nose. “You smell terrible.” Yeah, his fantasies didn’t go like this at all.

“Tomioka, really-” Iguro kept objecting, until he realized what it really meant. Tomioka wasn’t curious about what was under the bandages or about the foul blood. Or if he was, he wasn’t going to get into Iguro’s face about it or treating him differently. He was going to respect Iguro and let him eat in peace.
Was that what normal people were supposed to do? Tomioka just seemed so 𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭, acting like any everyday person would, respecting Iguro, not trying to force-feed him but genuinely looking out for his health and hunger.

Story concept: Obanai meets Tomioka instead of Mitsuri in the Ubuyashiki estate, and his total lack of reaction to Obanai has the same catnip effect, leading to Obanai fixating on Tomioka.

basically i take that and make an entire canon rewrite while having sanegiyuu and obamitsu running in the background, along with some good old giyuu-mitsuri friendship added to the mix. theyre so silly i love them.

For a moment, Giyuu-san’s gaze turns melancholic, and Tanjirou can smell the bittersweet scent of wistfulness.
“Do you want some?” Giyuu asks. “You must be hungry.”
“No, it’s all for you,” Tanjirou smiles.
“Thank you.”
Giyuu takes the chopsticks and inhales the scent deeply as if it were enough to nourish him. Then he finally takes a bite and Tanjirou is caught off guard when he sees Giyuu’s smile. It’s not the first time he has seen him smile, but this is different. For some reason, it reminds him of his father’s soft and gentle smile. He never thought he would see his father’s smile again - he believed it to be lost in an ocean of memories, too deep to dare go into.
