Summary
"It didn't happen often, usually it was Edward who ended up stuck in bed, unable to move, to eat or drink. Usually it was Izzy that coaxed him into moving, eating or drinking. Usually it was him that prevented him from drowning in the sweet haze of cheap rum. But there was no one to prevent him from falling into it, was there?
Ed found Bonnet, he didn't need Izzy anymore.
No one needed him anymore."

Summary
River feels worn out and barely copes with his everyday life. With Louisa’s somewhat unusual help, it gets better … but then it gets even worse. Sometimes things have to be broken down before being built up again.
(It’s a sequel to Show Me It Hurts, but the main thing you need to know is that River, utterly broke and miserable, got himself entangled in a black op and was used as bait for a sadistic audience on the dark web. As might be expected, it didn’t go well, but he was pulled out of it in one piece, if not entirely unscathed.)

Summary
There’s a ghost haunting the 141 common room. At least, Soap is about 80% sure there is, which is, in fairness, realistically about as sure as anyone could reasonably be about spooks haunting their workplace. He’s not stupid, he knows no one else is going to believe him if he brings it up. The scorn if he suddenly starts harping on about ghosties and ghoulies.
None of that negates the fact that there definitely is one though. Probably.

Summary
Simon 'Ghost' Riley is the Monster under the bed for new SAS recruits to whisper about after lights out. Beneath the hype is a man walled in tight, haunting the ruin of his own life and mourning the daylight he'll never know.
Johnny 'Soap' McTavish is as rare as sunshine in Scotland: a fearlessly kind Chaos Gremlin with a gift for demolishing things, including barriers.
What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?CW: Rape/non-con is referenced as this is a significant part of Simon's past, but nothing further occurs in the story.
