Summary
Kai stared at his skin, unable to look away at the scars on his arm.
The feeling of transforming into a dragon during the battle with Beatrix was stuck in his mind, torturing him on a level he himself couldn't really understand.
What if he lost a part of himself?
What if he wasn't human?
What if something disgusting was threatening to break out from beneath his skin barrier the moment he dared look away?---
Following after Dragons Rising Season 4 part 1, this one shot explores the idea of Kai fearing any sort of transformation into something monstrous.
Safe reading ya all.

This is about how differently the ninja deal with Nya's "death" and how it puts their friendship to a test.
(focused on Kai, because I'm mad at the creators for giving him so little attention after seabound)
---
“Are you even grieving? You don‘t cry, you don‘t do anything! Seems like I miss her more than you do. Because you are selfish as always.“
As soon as Jay was done, he realised what he said. What he did.
“Hey Kai, I‘m sorry, I didn‘t mean to-“, he began, but Kai interrupted him.
“What is it with the universe always telling me that?? But you know what, Jay? I won‘t believe it this time!“Oh thank first spinjitzu master.
But as soon as Kai continued, Jay‘s heart ached, hearing how hurt Kai actually was.“I refuse to believe that I‘m selfish, when it comes to my sister! Because I RAISED her! When I was fucking five years old! You forgot that, huh? Oh she was your girlfriend, sorry your yang. Well, she was my LIFE!“

Summary
Of course having elemental powers has drawbacks! Everyone experiences them differently, some worse than others… How does the master of fire deal with it?
If the boiling under his skin tells us anything, it’s that he’s not handling it very well. Luckily, he’s not alone anymore, and one of our ninja stumbles upon a way to earn his trust.
-
Note: This is set in an AU where Kai was kidnapped at a young age by Chen, and raised alongside Skylor. He’s recovering from injuries from his near death after he pushed Nya away from Chen and melted the staff with his bare hands. The ninja have welcomed him to the ship, but he’s a scarred man, and doesn’t trust anyone as far as he can throw em.

This was his reflection, why did it feel like he was staring at a stranger? or even at his worst enemy? He felt like he didn't know who he was anymore, if he was still Morro in the green Ninjas body, if he was meant to be the green ninja at all. It didn't feel real, none of this felt real.

Created in secret as a living cure for the Blot, Bendy was raised to believe that saving sick toons was the sole purpose of his existence. Though Boris argues otherwise.
Years later, Bendy is still determined to fulfill his purpose. To do that, he has to find the mythical Ink Machine and set right everything.
Maybe then, the guilt in Boris’s eyes will finally disappear. And maybe the weight on Bendy’s chest will finally lift.
Bendy just didn’t expect getting the map to be this damn difficult.

Summary
The blue-clad brother’s straw begins to stir in a rhythmic motion as he stews in thought. Really, the situation seemed hopeless for his brother. Furrowing his brows with a knuckle to his teeth, he hums, “I dunno, Cup. We already got witnesses, and now Honeycomb. Maybe you should just plead guilty and get it over with. They show mercy.”
“I’d rather eat my own straw,” Cuphead snarked. “The only man I ever begged for forgiveness was the Devil himself, and I only did it to escape and get back at him later.”
“Don’t act like you knew about Kettle’s stash of potions. You were scared shitless that day.”
“Alright, whatever. The point is that it took the literal Devil to make me pray. I ain’t confessin’ over a misdemeanor.”
“A mis–” Mugman glared at his idiot twin. “You summoned a demon, Cuphead!”
