Dream scoffed, rolling his eyes.

Tears tracked down his face, cheeks red as he stared fearlessly into Dream’s eyes. From where he stood, Dream could see the slight smile that twitched at the corner of the teenager’s lips, mouth lifting even as his eyes stayed resolutely grey.
As he watched, Tommy lifted a hand to his forehead, a pale mimicry of his brother’s final moments. A childish imitation of a soldier’s courage.
“Goodbye, Dream.”
And even as he began to fall backwards, down and down into the fiery depths that beckoned from below, his smile never dropped.

Because, as much as it makes his stomach curl up in disgust, Tommy can’t deny it. Every other fucking person has left him, one time or two times or over and over again, and yet Dream stayed. He went further than that, he sought out Tommy. He wanted to take care of him, to make him better, to--
Tommy thinks back to what Puffy had told him, at those few therapy sessions a couple of weeks ago. Friends don’t hurt each other.
And it sounds simple. It really does.
But if that’s the case, why did Tubbo send him to exile? Why did Ranboo stand by as he was sent off to the worst fucking years of his life?
He doesn’t know.
or: Beeduo doesn't know what really happened during exile. When they find out, Tommy is forced to reconcile with the fact that he's not over exile yet--and he might never be.
Featuring hurt comfort and cuddles, because if canon won't address exile arc then fuck it I will

Summary
Tommy blanched at his mistake, taking a hesitant step backwards on the ice.
Technoblade let out a guttural roar, something akin to either a jumble of noises or Tommy’s name smothered by the whistling of the fog. As Tommy was thrown backwards into the freezing lake, he could see Techno bolting towards him, arm stretched out desperately as if he would be able to catch Tommy from falling in so many long strides away. As the boy fell, the only sound that managed to climb its way out of his throat before he was dunked under the surface of the water was a strangle of a cry choked out of his throat as his lungs filled with water.
Or; Techno and Tommy are dog hunting.

Summary
Only pussies get cold, and Tommy’s not—has never been—a pussy. Getting cold is for other people, he’s just built different.
Except that it’s the middle of the night, and he just woke up in the middle of the ocean, again, and his clothes are barely holding together and he’s missing a shoe and he’s pretty sure he inhaled some salt water while trying to get to the surface and figure out where the fuck the shore went, and, okay, maybe the cold is not so poggers.

“I have to go, Sam.”
Sam looks confused and almost sad for a moment before his face settles on a warm understanding. “Want me to walk you home? Just so you get there safe?” Tommy hated him. He hated how Sam threw around kindness like it was nothing. Like selfish Tommy wasn’t asking him to leave the comfort of his home at who knows that hour in the night. “You don’t have to,” Tommy was a moment away from snapping. Couldn’t Sam just leave him alone? He liked Sam. He liked him a lot but Tommy was done using him. He was done using other people's kindness.
“I don’t have to. I want to.”
Sam was fucking weird. “Really, I can do it. I don’t want to make you walk me home. ‘M not a bitch, I can take care of myself.”
Sam nods. “Yes you can, but like I said, you aren’t making me,” he pauses for a minute before his face softened, “I’m sorry kiddo. I don’t mean to push it, I'm just tired. Get home safe, okay?”
or tommy has a nightmare and decides he doesn’t deserve to stay at Sam’s home. Sam stops him and gives him a much needed hug.

Summary
All of it is so overwhelming. There’s no escape. He’s stuck in his worst nightmares and he will be for at least seven days. It feels like an eternity. He can’t even handle a couple of hours. He wants Sam to come and save him. He wants Tubbo to hold him and tell him it would be okay. He wants Phil and Techno here to protect him.
He can’t have it. Tommy isn’t in control. All he has is Dream and his stupid smug smiling face and Tommy can’t stand it. He can’t stand this. He can’t do this, but what choice does he have? He had nowhere to go. Nowhere to run away. He has to face it head-on but he physically can’t do that without everything swirling and twisting into his worst nightmares.
He was screwed.

Summary
Tommy had been acting weird all week, but all of a sudden it made a bit more sense. Tommy was curled up on the floor, shivering and trembling, dried blood leaving streaks down his back and new large wings spread out behind him. The feathers were bent and crumpled in places and blood clumped a lot of them together and it was hard to see how they actually looked with the blood. They were still except for the occasional twitch.
For a few moments, Tubbo stood there, his eyes wide, unsure of what he should do. Tommy still didn’t stir.

Even so, Tubbo couldn’t ignore the burnt feathers, how there were patches where it was obvious that feathers had been plucked, the way that the colors of his wings were dulling. Tubbo didn’t have wings but he could only imagine how uncomfortable it was.
