Mydei looks up and for a moment feels like the breath has been knocked out of him, words lost in the face of the man who is hovering by his table. Handsome. Beautiful. Winsome is how Mydei would describe him in one of his books. He has clear bright eyes and an expression so sweet and boyish that it puts him in mind of a puppy.
Unfortunately, because of his surprise and inappropriate staring, it takes him a beat too long to answer and the man's smile turns from friendly to something more knowing. Summary
He reaches forth. The sharp tip of gauntlet-clad fingers traces, deliberately dragging a slow path along the golden sun etched on the side of Phainon’s neck, pressing into delicate skin. The string hangs between them and shimmers with each motion. His finger catches the leather choker that sits snug around Phainon neck, hooks beneath the thin strap.
Mydei tugs.
The pull is sharp yet gentle at the same time, more of an invitation than a command to force him down. The man is strong enough to remain unbudged. He knows that Phainon can choose to not react at all, he has more than enough strength to resist if chooses to, much more than enough to remain unmoved.
But instead of ignoring like he always does when it comes to their soulmate bond, Phainon gives in.
Or, Mydei doesn’t know why Phainon keeps avoiding the obvious, or more simply put, the thread of fate that binds them together as soulmates. Which then leads to him wondering: how far can he go until the Deliverer breaks?

Summary
The next time Mydei sees Phainon, there's a heap of soil on the floor.
The order of events, specifically, is this: Mydei had walked into the flower shop, and a pot had slipped from gloved hands, ultimately cracking against wooden tiles. It had been, and still is, paired with the ocean blues of mortification, looking at her as though Mydei had personally knocked it over herself.
A white-haired florist catches Mydei’s attention across the street from the tattoo parlor.

Summary

Summary
It truly was impressive to see just how hopeless that man was for to Mydei. All anyone had to do was bring up the prince’s name, and Phainon’s ears would perk up like he had just heard a crucial detail to attack in a debate.
In fact, Hyacine mused, you probably didn’t even have to bring up Mydei's name. Phainon would inevitably derail any conversation into an ode to his muse’s greatness.
Hyacine as she observes (against her will) the strange relationship between Phainon and Mydei over the years.

“This is your last chance… to run away,” Mydei said, his breathing laboured as he struggled out the words, his crimson tattoos flexing as he shifted his grip along the doorknob. His orange, blazing eyes stared at Phainon for only a second, a hint of delirium in his look, before looking away to the side. Maintaining such a position seemed to be exerting an extreme physical and mental toll on the prince.
“I have no intention to run away,” Phainon said with as much empathy as he could muster, hoping his genuineness would be conveyed; and as he breathed that last word, a warm, clammy hand tightly pulled him into the room.
Mydei never has any success with Omegas during his rut; so he has long resolved to endure them on his own. Phainon, a fellow Alpha, decides Mydei should not suffer through something like that alone, determined to show Mydei the wonders of being cared for during his rut.

Summary
Mydei is stuck in a strange state of existence. While most believe him an alpha due to his outward appearance and reputation as a fierce warrior, he has no secondary gender and a limited sense of smell.
Usually, he wouldn’t care and even prefers not having to deal with heats and ruts, but lately, being around Phainon has him feeling off-center. There’s a weird prickling sensation in his nape that won’t go away, and his entire body heats up at even the slightest provocation.
Is he, somehow, growing allergic to Phainon? Is that what this is?
Alternatively, Mydei presents as an omega because of one very oblivious Deliverer and has to deal with the consequences.

Summary
In a way, this all feels quite intimate. Sometimes the audio shifts from one ear to another like he’s beside him speaking directly into his ear, sending a tingle down his spine. The voice asks if he can hold Neuvillette and seconds later Neuvillette swears there are arms wrapping around him and a warm body pressed against his back.
Neuvillette listens to an audio drama to try and rid himself of his recent sleep troubles, but develops an attachment to one of the voice actors instead. He discovers that the voice actor does other kinds of audio, some of which are quite...stimulating.

It’d been a mid-life crisis thing—starting up a ThirstTrap account. He’s aging, going gray, and it’s harder and harder to snag cute guys when out on the town. So Wriothesley thought: What is the harm? He posts up a few lewds, gets a few bites, and maybe makes a couple hundred on the side. Being a personal trainer pays his bills, but a slush fund is nice, and Wriothesley deemed it worth the ill-advised idea™.
Clorinde had laughed at him. Literally. Wriothesley spilled the beans the next day over coffee and tea cakes at Café Lutece, and she’d laughed so hard he thought he might’ve broken her. He’s known Clorinde for decades and that is the only time he’s seen her double over and lose it.
She’d stopped laughing after the first payout because Wriothesley was an instant sensation, a rough and tumble, silver fox showing off the goods. As it turns out, there’s a market for decent-looking middle-aged men with gnarly scars, and a bomb-ass physique.
Wriothesley and Neuvillette are both lonely, socially stunted older dudes terrified of dating, and so they do what the youngsters do-- accidentally initiate romance over social media by way of 'lewd modeling'.
