Summary
Kat thought she would die in Sheogorath's Pit for the terrible crimes she committed. And for twenty years, she rot there until one day they took her from the Imperial City's prison, first by carriage, and then by boat. To the east, to Morrowind. There she is given a task by the Emperor himself. If she does not complete it, the Imperials will send her back the Pit.
Alone in a foreign world, she teams up with a half-blind mer, Jiub, who is too friendly and talks...a lot. Yet every night mad dreams consume her—and she soon realizes that they aren't due to her violent past in the Pit.
The Sixth House has risen and Lord Dagoth is its glory.

They learned about the history of Quelii, about their culture, about the wider galaxy—about the dangers in the galaxy. About aliens with strange appearances. Humans that were more alien than aliens.
One of the lessons was about the Jedi.
