Wizards don’t have sex. It says so in the Lore.
It’s a fact of the Disc, and it was probably decided by a bunch of wizards with names like Lloullorallyn the Defiant or Ooruugaman the Faithful who had made resisting the spice of life into a lifestyle, in the same way that they avoided even the most buttery of curries.
But they can make an exception for a poor, unfortunate wizard who had someone force themselves onto him.

Hybrids had a complicated history, but not Zedaph.
Zed had always been a grass-eating, bah-bleating sheep hybrid who knew what he was, owned what he was, and encouraged others to recognise him for who he was since he first arrived in Impulse's life. Tango took a few years to light up the room, but Zed had always been one to smile with his full set of vegetarian-suited teeth. Zed never felt ashamed of who he was.
Well, until Impulse and Tango accidently came to learn the one thing which got the sheep hybrid feeling sheepish.

Posner feels Scripps shift beside him. ‘I don’t think anyone knows the answer to that. God would say worship. Jesus would say love.’
‘And what would you say?’
Scripps falls silent as he ponders the question. Then: ‘I think it’s being with the people you care about. Finding moments of quiet. Looking for beauty.’
Posner smiles bitterly. ‘I don’t think I could find it if I tried.’

Posner navigates adult life and everything that comes with it, both the good and the bad. Thankfully, Scripps is there through it all, in confusingly fluctuating capacities as friend and lover.
Rated M for some pretty heavy mental health stuff, a suicide attempt by OD (though not in graphic detail), and sexual content (again, not super graphic, but there are sex scenes). Triggers for individual chapters will be in the notes. Please be careful! This is angsty, but I swear it ends happily.

Cole toppled a government or two, caused a few explosions, murdered more bad guys than he can count, and probably a few innocents too. He caused more collateral damage — ruined more lives — than he’ll ever account for, and the world didn’t change a bit. He did his time, and he’s not going back.
Too bad Overwatch doesn’t want to take no for an answer.
