Summary
A totally random and absolutely fun piece I wrote to get away from stress in my life (and avoid work) about my kind of Ra and his Avatar, a female Egytipologist (because obviously), maybe opening piece of a one-shot collection? At this moment the only canon this piece has is the cinematic universe, nothing else, this can change IF I keep writing this thing.
I know nothing about the comics, I don't read them. I am not an archaeologist, I am only an enthusiastic fan of ancient Egypt and I had an idea that entertained me and played around with it, which is basically the following: really every Egyptian God has to be a straightforward asshole to their Avatar? I mean even the ones who are not talking shit about their Avatars are still seemed to be distant. What if - ever since they all have different personalities - one of them is more casual? Friendly? Open minded? Yes, still a Deity, but still willing to get off their high horse and actually try to understand the modern world and the people who are living in it. And what if this more casual God happens to be the Boss one?

An entry for Salty_but_Sweet's prompt list: Enemies to Lovers and for some reason I felt the urge to put the whole thing into the HP universe. Because what we all need is teenage Lara and Jacob hating each other until they don't do that anymore :D
BTW no Harry Potter, Golden Trio, anything like that will happen in this story. I only borrowed the universe and a few teachers and sometimes I do mention the main characters from the HP series, ever since this story is happening in the same universe, but that's it. This is not a Harry Potter story, the Boy Who Lived and the rest is not in this story.

“Who said there are no rules?” The storm is close and the promise of rain makes her fingers tremble.
“Come now, Korra, we both know rules are just holding you back.” She turns to see he is already looking at her, gray eyes stoic and knowing and she wonders if he realizes just how much they actually have in common: the ice wielding probender and the confine escaping, curfew breaking, boyfriend kissing Avatar. If only he knew how many rules she has already broken just to be here, just to weather this storm with him. Maybe he does, or maybe he suspects. And even though breaking the rules isn’t how she usually likes to operate, she won't deny the appeal.
