“She’s my wife!” barked out the normally mild-mannered firefighter.
“Sorry sir.” The paramedic apologized and stepped out of his way.
As Mateo climbed into the ambulance, the rest of the 126 were stunned by what they had just heard. As they watched the ambulance pull away with the lights and sirens blaring no one said a word until Marjan broke the silence.
“Did anyone else not know that Mateo and Nancy are married?”

“So, Nancy and Mateo,” TK says not-so-slyly the moment the loft door closes behind the pair in question. The gang is setting up Catan, a four-person version that might as well be a double date with the way Paul and Marjan have already spent most of the intervention part of this hang holding hands. TK smiles at how happy they all are.
The first person to react to his statement is, of course, Carlos. Their eyes meet, and he wiggles his brows before saying, “You know, I had an inkling at the firehouse the other day, but I wasn’t sure. Paul’s chili distracted me.”

Ravi Panikkar tried to keep his relationship a secret because he knew once he told the 118 about it, he would be subjected to the same soap opera drama they were all cursed with.
However, even Ravi isn't immune from the 118's curse, and trying to keep it a secret only delayed the inevitable.

Really, Eddie doesn’t care that the PTA aren’t his biggest fan. He knows he misses too many meetings, and it’s not like he’s best friends with any of the other parents. It doesn’t affect Christopher, so it doesn’t bother him. He’ll pay for the annual fundraising mugs and consider his duty done.
But then Buck picks Christopher up from a class trip and it all goes to hell.
