Breathing heavier than a second ago Noah places his hand on his heart, reminding himself that he’s safe. He’s with Mirage. There’s no Terrorcons trying to kill him. Not anymore. Mirage’s dials stop spinning. “Bro, are you okay in there?” Mirage asks after a moment.
Taking a deep breath in, Noah nods. He’s okay. The traffic light ahead of them turns green. “I’m alright, the dudes in the car over just caught me off guard…”
Or: After his many near death experiences Noah comes out of it physically okay. Mentally though, he finds himself jolting at the sounds of engines roaring. Mirage is thrown through a loop when facing Noah. He’s so used to being with others who learned to brush off what they’ve been through. Noah wasn’t like that.

Zuko flinches the first time that Sokka reaches out to cup his cheek.
It’s a visceral thing; a knee-jerk reaction that leaves Sokka stunned and Zuko humiliated, his reaction to something so small weighing down on him like the greatest of failures. He knows he’s not in danger, knows that he never is when he’s with the water tribe boy- it’s just, the last time someone touched his face, it was to permanently mar him. And his body seems to hold onto that fact, even if his heart so desperately wants to let it go.

Bepo leans on the railing and crosses his arms. They stare at each other for some seconds, and Law’s sighing irritatedly when Bepo droops his ears and turns his mouth into a frown.
“Stop acting cute.” He grumbles, breaking eye contact and snapping his head to the side, “I just needed to see a familiar face.”
“Oh. Are you feeling okay? Where’s your hat?”
Law shakes his head, brows furrowing minutely as his jaw clenches again and his lips wobble, voice tight, “Couldn’t bear to look at it. The spots reminded me of my skin. They reminded me of─ of him. ”
