No one really notices until villagers start asking for help on things they've never done before, until they notice some of Mirabel's things thrown into the trash, until the children and Antonio ask where is Mirabel constantly, and until her lovely bright embroidered dress loses all its color and design. Julieta, struck with a sense of deja vu, sees all of this happening, against her mother's judgment who believes Mirabel is doing all this for attention, is determined to show her daughter that she is loved and needed here, regardless of what anyone says.
