Summary
It should be embarrassing, the way Ashton’s looking at him right now, but it’s much better than the last one he gave him; one of pure hurt, like he could never be forgiven for what he’d done. If Ashton still hates him—if he ever did, and Luke suspects he might have—he’s at the very least not letting it show.
“Do you want—something?” Luke asks, gesturing behind himself towards the kitchen, but he’s not entirely sure if that’s what he’s asking.
“Can I stay here for a few days?”
(or, eighteen months into an indefinite hiatus, Ashton shows up on Luke's doorstep and moves into his spare room.)

Summary
**A few years after the events of Royal, Goro and Akira are happily living together. There's just one problem: Akira wants a cat. And Goro and Morgana would rather die.**
“Oh, for Christ’s sake,” Goro grumbles, turning on his heel and freezing in place.
The cat bumps into his legs and lets out a startled “MROW!”
“Stop following me!” Goro orders the cat. “Stay!”
He turns back around and continues walking.
The cat follows him. -

Summary
Slowly but surely overpowering the scent of sweat and blood in the air something else fills the room, leather and gunpowder and a hint of cinnamon, strong and distinctly alpha, enveloping him as he breathes it in again and again, trying to commit it to memory as something deep inside him whines and begs for more of it. For a moment, he's disoriented, eyes flitting around in an attempt to locate the source, anything that could have changed or appeared but there's no shadow approaching, and Mementos looks the same as it did just seconds ago.
Akira knows it's not his own scent; he’s still cloaked in that familiar calm, neutral scent that allows him to pass as a beta, strong blockers allowing only a hint of his own coffee and dark chocolate scent to be noticeable, barely even there unless someone was actively looking for it. So the only option left is… Akechi.
In which a small slip-up in Mementos causes a domino effect of consequences neither of them quite anticipated.

Summary
There’s something too soft in the way Akira laughs around a gasp. “You loved me.”
It’s a mistake, one that’s out of his mouth before he can really catch it. Two years of pining and mourning and loving, whole heartedly, has it tumbling from his lips, drunk on the excitement of Goro in his house, in his bed, in his life.
“I did,” Goro says. “I do.”

Unable to enter the cafe or just let Akechi go, Akira drags him into the nearby laundromat for a confrontation.

Summary
Ever since their first palace, Joker has always taken three other Phantom Thieves with him into battle. It’s simply remained that way ever since, no matter how much their team grew.
That completely changes one day on a visit to Mementos. But instead of increasing the number, Joker decides to solely bring Akechi with him the entire trip.
And the rest of the Thieves are kinda getting tired of it.

Summary
He looked at Goro. Then to Futaba. Then to Goro again. And the lightbulb went off in his head.
“You know what, I um… I actually have something I need to do. Right now.” He blurted it out impulsively, already letting go of Goro’s hand and scooting back the other direction. He shoved the bag into Goro’s chest and let go, leaving him no time to protest. “Why don’t you break it in for me?”
“What?!”
“What.”

Summary
Freeze takes a while to warm up after, but Burn heals quickly. Brainwash ends when the battle does, but Confuse lasts a few minutes. Now apparently Forget causes temporary amnesia, as Joker is afflicted and they’re forced to retreat to a safe room until it passes.
“Can someone explain this? Is it always the same sort of amnesia?” Crow asks. Joker is being sat down by Panther on a luxurious sofa in one of the safe rooms in Sae’s palace. Joker is smiling uneasily at her.
“Mostly. It’s always retrograde, meaning past memories are affected.” Oracle explains, Crow nods along. “Sometimes they can recall a lot, sometimes it’s a little. The longest it’s ever lasted was for Noir, 15 whole minutes. We were starting to get worried.”
“But hey! We can play that game we did last time!” Skull says.
“A game? With an amnesiac?” Crow asks him. Skull nods.

Summary
“Well,” Akira cleared his throat, trying to will his expression into the most serious one he had, “you see. You haven't yet found out what day it is today.”
Goro’s face did that adorable thing it did when it went through the stages of confusion, realization and fury in the split of a second.
If only Akira found it adorable, it was everyone else's problem.
“What the fuck does that have to do with you fucking me?”
“Everything!” Akira answered with a cheerful grin, realizing that he might very much have a death wish if the piercing glare he received in return was anything to go by for. “Think of it as a sort of game, Goro.” He said, rubbing his palms up and down his boyfriend's sides in what he hoped would be a soothing gesture.
Goro narrowed his eyes at him. “A game?”
Akira nodded. “Yeah. All you have to do is guess what day it is and I’ll fuck you as much as you want.”

Summary
He had so many good memories in Tokyo.
But being here also brought back the memories of Akechi. No matter how hard he’d tried, he just couldn’t forget him and no other guy seemed remotely attractive anymore. He and Akechi had never even been romantically involved - no confession, no kiss, nothing - so he shouldn’t be taking control of his life like this.
Which led him to his current situation, walking through Kichijoji after school this Friday evening, winter coat on as he huddled into his scarf for extra warmth and a crisp leather glove in his pocket. February was always so cold, but it was warmer in the city than it was in the country. Even so, he just felt especially cold today.
Today, he was going to the Jazz Jin to say goodbye to Akechi once and for all.

“You’re asking to be my date?” Goro finally manages to say, and Kurusu shrugs yet again in response.
“Sure, if that’s what you want to call it.”
Her eyes narrow. “You’d have no business being there.”
Pushing herself up, Kurusu crosses her arms and casually leans her hip against the countertop. “I’m just a friend from school who you decided to bring to the event with you. If you don’t want to do it, that’s fine. I just figured I’d offer.”
Or;
Goro Akechi is trying her best not to crack under the mounting pressure as she manages top scores as a high school student, maintains her image as a perfect female celebrity, and moonlights as a teenage assassin. She doesn't have time for relationships, and certainly not for Akira Kurusu who seems determined to insert herself into her life with all the grace of a raging bull.

Summary
“No way this Akechi dude is real,” Ryuji ever so slowly says, making wild gestures towards the same three photos Ren’s been sliding through for the tenth time in the span of only a few seconds.
“Block him immediately. That’s the most obvious catfishing I have ever seen. Also, what the hell is a COO supposed to be?”
Ren doesn’t know either. A quick internet research spits out the answer.
“Chief Operating Officer,” he reads out aloud. “Sounds…” Professional, expensive, hot, “...fancy.”
“Anything with three capital letters sounds fancy,” Ryuji grumbles.
or: Ryuji jokingly tells an overworked Ren to get a sugar daddy, never expecting to be taken seriously.

“I'm going to be entirely honest with you,” Goro replied pleasantly, before taking another long drag from the cigarette. “I hate you.
Your horrible handling of your unfortunate circumstances. Your blandness. Your ability to fall behind even me – all these irritate me.”or: Goro Akechi had worked hard to be bottom of the class - until Akira Kurusu came to their school, apparently just as determined at failing (and considerably better at it).

It's been eight years since Maruki tried to pull all that omnipotent god shit. Eight years since the Phantom Thieves have worked as a team to fight for justice in the Metaverse.
Eight years since Ren has seen Goro Akechi.
Now he's (mostly) over it and settled into his new life as a veterinarian, but he'll soon find that fate has other plans for both of them.
