Summary
Rose unmuted the audio, clearing her throat loudly. “Hello everyone,” she greeted. Zoey was sure she could hear nerves in the woman’s voice. “We’re doing something that’s, uh, a little different today. My girlfriend will be joining me. And so help me god, if any of you little bitches says anything out of pocket to her, I will ban you. And maybe track you down in real life. So watch it.”
The other person walked into the frame and Zoey froze. No fucking way. She rubbed her eyes, sure she was seeing things. The woman was wearing regular clothes, a loose pair of sweatpants and a tight long-sleeved top, nothing identifiable, but Zoey knew her. Zoey had spent hours tracing her eyes over the lines of the plum blossom tattoos she could just barely see peeking out from the woman’s sleeve. She had daydreamed about those big hands and that melodic voice.

Zoey's a broke, stressed out student in her last year of undergrad, kept afloat mostly by her favorite camgirl, Rose, and her TA/crush/friend, Rumi. She has no idea that the two are much closer than she would have ever expected.
(Mira is not called Rose for much time at all if people find that offputting, basically just for one scene!)

Summary
Yelena leaned in, pressing her lips to Kate’s for a brief moment. A sharp taste of salt and blood lingered on her mouth; she hated the sensation, but said nothing.
“There. A real kiss, then. I hope you’re satisfied,” she said as she pulled back, her eyes finding Kate’s again. “Now, can we change the subject?”
A small, mischievous smile lit up Kate’s face for a few seconds.
“It seems like you’ve kissed me back to life at least twice today, love.”
A faint blush rose to the Widow’s cheekbones as, in her arms, pressed close to her, Kate gradually relaxed. As if that small, tender gesture—that simple kiss—had drained some of her tension away.
OR - A cargo ship, a mission gone wrong, Kate going through hell, Yelena doing everything to keep her close, and everything that comes before, during and after.

Summary
College was supposed to be a fresh start, a chance to figure out who you are and where you belong. But falling for your best friend's sister was never part of the plan. Neither was falling for her wife.
Between late-night talks, quiet moments that linger too long, and the fear of losing everything you care about, you begin to understand that love is rarely simple. It’s messy, beautiful, and sometimes the very thing that helps you find yourself.

What happens when two emotionally repressed people who believe they're undeserving of love... fall in love?
Pages and pages of yearning, that's what.
-_-_-_-
“Again.” Natasha commands, for what must be the hundredth time today.
You huff at her, frustration prickling the back of your neck. You swear, you’ve thought of every conceivable way to outmaneuver her, but nothing works. You lunge, she dodges effortlessly. Any time you’ve managed to get your hands on her, she maneuvers your bodies in a way so graceful it feels choreographed. Never in a way that hurts you. Not since you hurt her.
She learns fast.
You don’t.
-_-_-_-
This fic is canon-compliant and follows the overall plot of the MCU, starting before the events of Iron Man 2. EXTREMELY slow burn. Reader is referred to with they/them pronouns. Homophobia and Transphobia are not plot points.

Summary
“Hello, Kate Bishop, you can put the knife down.”
Kate frowns, tucking the knife closer to her side without thinking. “I’m not holding a knife.”
“You’re a terrible liar,” Yelena says, head tilted to the side in the most disarming way possible. “My knife is not currently in my hand,” Yelena holds up both hands, palms facing Kate. “See?” She wiggles her fingers and Kate swallows the lump in her throat. “I’m not here to fight or frighten you.”
Kate scoffs, “you don’t frighten me.”
“Not today, no.”

Summary
“Yeah, unless I don’t finish my degree.” It’s a grumpy little mumble, barely meant for Yelena, but she responds to it nevertheless.
“What do you mean?“ she demands. “You only have a small amount of time left! Why would you stop now?”
“I don’t know,” Kate murmurs, and Yelena is bewildered to hear a faint echo in her own emptiness, coming from nearly six thousand kilometers away. “I just don’t really know what to do now, I guess. Clint says I’m the new Hawkeye, but that’s not official or anything. And even when it is, it’s going to be a lot of training. So I’m waiting to wait, or something, and — and I don’t know why I’m talking to you about this, actually.”
“Sometimes, it’s nice to just talk,” Yelena thinks and then says. “But I don’t think you should drop out of school, Kate Bishop. School is cool.”
