    One version of Harry Potter had his soul sucked out the night he was attacked by dementors, another version cast a patronus and chased them off. The version that lost his soul probably wouldn't mind the one who lived taking his body as long as he used it to protect the people he cared about... even if that version was older, better trained, and much darker.

    With his second chance Harry refuses to be just the Boy-Who-Lived, but Voldemort isn't the only threat to magical Britian. The Ministry and Dumbledore have been playing games for decades and it's time for someone new to over throw the powers that be.

Everything Hagrid told him wasn't true. His mother's account manager had warned him but this was way beyond what he had truly expected. What was he to do now? It's not like he could just get on a plane to New York, he was supposed to leave for Hogwarts tomorrow morning. He needs to make a plan.

    It’s the first day after Winter break with snow quietly falling outside the large, gothic windows, though you can hardly get anyone to go out into the cold, especially this early in the morning. For the past week, Harry had been trying to scrape together all his supposed bravery that let him get into Gryffindor, and the current peaceful atmosphere of the mid-breakfast Great Hall really isn’t helping his nerves right now.
    “Hey, Hermione?” he casually asks over the buttered toast on his plate he hadn’t touched since Ron put it there. His hands are cold and wet and shaking and he hates it. “Do you think I have any living relatives outside the Dursleys?”

    Or: what if the Golden Trio decided that fuck it, they are getting Harry out of the Dursleys? Which of course means that they need a way to do that, which results in an impromptu break-in into the Restricted Section, some questionable decisions, and… Accidental Parent Acquisition.

He's not thrilled to play a role in another, especially one in a secret society that Hecate has been nurturing for a couple thousand years as a little pet project, but needs must and Percy and a few of his friends have geared up to head overseas and try out living in a what basically equates to a whole new world.

    The fates smile as they applaud themselves on managing to make Hecate think she decided to send demigods to her little magical side project all on her own. Things were different in another lifetime. They have seen it unfold as they they gazed into the fates of all living things, but so many threads have been severed before their time, distorting the fates of souls across time that they can not just watch.
