It turns out that Matt is wrong when he has to seek Frank's help one night.

"Shut up, Frank," he mutters, trying to put an edge of annoyance in his voice. It's an impossible task, and they both know it.
But the words work. For a moment. Until they don't.
"Did you miss this, Red? It's been... what? Five years? Six?" Frank's voice is a low, teasing murmur, and his tongue traces a slow, wet path along the curve of Matt's ear. "And yet... here you are, jumping into bed with me the moment you see me again. I must say, I'm a little flattered."

Fuck. Fuck, shit, damn it. He didn't think this would come back to him.
"Did we have sex?" Red muses, but his face shows no trace of the usual teasing, or the smirk Frank has gotten used to. It has... sadness to it, a tinge of longing and hurt and frustration, like he's not sure if he wants to remember it. Well, not that Frank can really blame him. Who would sleep with the fucking Punisher and actually be proud of it? "Do we still... are we fucking? How did that happen?"
(Or, Matt gets shot in the head, loses his memory and a little bit more than that. He doesn't remember what they were to each other, but somehow, Frank still becomes the anchor that keeps him from going under when the world starts to fall apart.)

Dammit. This is it. This is the moment where a wire fries in Jongho’s brain. He can feel it as it’s happening, the electric sizzle of his synapses melting, even as the words are queuing up and leaving his mouth. “Because it’s Yeosang I’m dating.”
